So my ex decided to confess to me
That when he was in Chicago for a week, there was a girl he liked. And flirted with. Which is family knew about.
And that when he told me he wasn’t going to smoke weed with his friends and sneak into a movie, that they did. And I told him that since he was already stealing I didn’t want him to do drugs and be an idiot on top of that. He swore he never would.
Well, that was shocking. Since he swears he ‘never did anything wrong’ and ‘treated me like gold.’

Please don’t ever feel like you are not good enough, you have been created the way that you should be, and that is what makes you an individual. Ignore any and all destructive criticism or insults, including any from your past; your opinion of yourself is the most important opinion of all, because you know yourself better than anyone else. Most people lack self confidence because they worry about what others say about them. The first thing to do is be happy with yourself and your abilities. Focus less on how others see you and focus more on how you see yourself. Many of us have been hurt by others at some time. It is crucial not to internalize that abuse and let them continue to hurt you, because that is, in fact, letting them win. If we let go of the past and ignore hurtful negativity, and make ourselves happy, then we win.
We need to appreciate ourselves, everyone in this world has strengths, weaknesses, habits, and principles that define who we are, they make us distinctive. Spend more time focusing on the qualities about yourself that you like and less on the ones that people dislike. You deserve to have your dreams, and you can make them come true. The most important thing of all is that you have to believe in yourself. If you believe you can, then you will be able to. As your self confidence builds, you will feel better about yourself, and your self esteem will grow from the inside out. You’ll gain this confidence by believing that you are unique, you are special, and that you are just as good if not even better than everyone out there.
I know I don’t have all of the words, or all of the things to make you feel better. But I can try my hardest, I can be here with an open heart. I know I may not know you all, nor am I saying I can make your problems go away, but I can try to put a smile on your face. I believe that putting a smile on someone’s face or making someone feel better about themselves even if just for that day, is something we should all try to do. I rather live my life knowing I tried to make a difference, then to sit back and say I didn’t. I give all of you my love, my sincerity, my hopes, my strengths, my faith, and my courage.
